The Celtic Fest is a new celebration of  Celtic culture in South Africa. It took place at Champetre Estate in Modderfontein, Johannesburg, on the 14th and 15th of May 2011. SA Bagpiper and Nick the Djembe drummer performed for the crowds. Other bands that performed at the Fest were the Blarney Brothers, Code Red Drum Core, Pan’s Kilt, Haggis and Bong, The Welsh Male Voice Choir of South Africa.
